Is Type-O-Negative Christian?
Type O Negative's latest album, Dead Again, contains many religious themes which isn't unique for Type O Negative. However, this time round those themes are not portrayed in a mocking way or sexual way as they have been in previous albums by Type-O. The religious themes in Dead Again are actually quite positive and supportive. It appears the band, or at least their front-man has had some changes in his life...
look at these lyrics...

Some people think that scream (at 10:18 in the above video) is Peter saying "I'M A CHRISTIAN!".
Also, look at this...
from Wiki - Peter SteeleIn April 2007, Steele revealed that he began identifying himself as Roman Catholic in recent years, after decades of self-professed atheism. In an interview with Decibel magazine, Steele explains “There are no atheists in foxholes, they say, and I was a foxhole atheist for a long time. But after going through a midlife crisis and having many things change very quickly, it made me realize my mortality. And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what’s after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it’s a frightening thought to go nowhere. I also can’t believe that people like Stalin and Hitler are gonna go to the same place as Mother Teresa.”[7]
What do you think?
On a different note (see what I did there), at around 12:18 of the youtube cut, you can hear the lead guitar playing the Hey Jude riff, as Type O Negative are all HUGE fans of the Beatles.
