Series Archer logo
On the Crafty Games forums a discussion about the setting for Spycraft 3rd Edition was comparing what might be expected to how Paizo has handled the Pathfinder setting of Golarion. Somewhere in the discussion the above image appeared!
Shadowforce Archer was the spy-fi setting for the Spycraft 1st Edition (or Classic Spycraft). I believe at one point it was originally called Series Archer, but was changed to Shadowforce Archer by the time it was published. Spycraft 2.0 moved from that setting to a new one that crossed over with the collectible card game Crafty Games was publishing at the time.
Now 3rd Edition is currently in production and we fans have been waiting for a very long time for it. 3rd Edition is to return to a more espionage-type tropes (as opposed to the all encompassing Spycraft 2.0 that covered as much modern day aspects as possible, reaching WELL beyond espionage as a genre). Also 3rd Edition is returning to the original setting and using the original name- Series Archer.
We're excited whenever more of 3rd Edition is revealed. The logo is a bit more tangible as opposed to more discussion.
