#RPGaDay2016, Day 7, What aspect of RPGs has had the biggest effect on you?
I came to a point one day where I made myself decide if I was going to pursue my comic book collecting hobby or my RPG hobby. I found I didn't have the money, nor the time for both and I had to decide. It was a bit of a sad day.
While I still dearly love comics and most things about them, I did ultimately decide to stick with RPGs. The main reason is that comics and comic collecting/reading, etc. is a solo hobby. You pretty much do that by yourself. Where RPGs, by their nature, is a community hobby. At its proper form, you need other people.
Both hobbies can be enjoyed on a creative level. But I feel RPGs wins mainly because of its collaborative nature.
