Æon Flux soundtrack by Drew Neumann
Drew Neumann is the composer of the fantastic music from the 1991 MTV animated series Æon Flux. He is a longtime friend of Æon Flux's creator, Peter Chung. The music is chilly and stylized perfectly to the bleak universe portrayed in the excellent series. Eerie airy atmospheric keyboards with synthesized sounding percussions generated unsettling background music throughout. The melodies are chaotic lending to this uncertain universe where nothing is really stable. Its so distinct and really great.
The album was released by Tone Casualties in 1997, but for some reason Neumann wasn't able to use the show's title or imagery for the cover. So this seems like a regular album entitled Eye Spy (Ears Only : Confidential) but it really is the music from the show.
It was later released in 2005 as part of the MTV/Paramount Complete Animated Collection DVD set.
